An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the NAFN Data and Intelligence Service, a small team based within Risk Management and Audit Services.

Reporting to the NAFN Head of Service you will be responsible for ensuring that ICT systems and data are maintained efficiently and effectively to meet demanding operational standards. You will also lead on service improvement projects working with solution providers, external partners and stakeholders. Working with the Head of Service and Service Team Manager you will direct staff and develop the service.

Established in 1997, NAFN is now the largest shared service in Britain providing data, intelligence and best practice to support fraud investigations, enforcement and debt recovery throughout local government and other agencies, both public and private. There are currently 410 member organisations with over 10,000 registered users.

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a proven track record of delivering successful ICT service improvements. NAFN is constantly striving to expand and enhance services for its members and the postholder will need to be both strategic and proactive in identifying and delivering key priorities.

You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the NAFN ICT infrastructure working with external partners to closely manage sensitive data ensuring compliance with networking standards across government.
