Role summary:

We are looking for a self-motivated, versatile, delivery focussed individual to join our team as a Project Manager in the PDU (Programme Delivery Unit) which sits in Finance & Corporate Services.

Business change comes in many different shapes and sizes; from innovative ideas to infrastructure upgrades, from product development to people initiatives, from cross-government collaboration to team-level improvements. You may be called upon to lead and facilitate a variety of projects each of which delivers real benefits to our business.

Our team is at the very centre of business change within Ordnance Survey. With strong links to all business areas, we are responsible for delivering change initiatives across the business.

This is an exciting time to be involved in business change at Ordnance Survey and a great opportunity to move into a role with such variety of work.

You will need to demonstrate your track record against the following essential criteria and competencies:

Skills and knowledge:

- Organising, controlling and co-ordinating large, complex IT projects

- Knowledge of the full project lifecycle and project management methodology tools & techniques

- Stakeholder relationship management

- People management and development

- Excellent project planning and financial management skills

- Relevant industry qualifications: PRINCE2; PMI; APM
