The IT Trading Floor Services team provide effective 1st/2nd line support for Financial Markets Trading Floor. We aim to deliver a focused client service through troubleshooting and problem solving end user desktop issues. Supporting the whole of our Financial Markets area - approximately 700 Trading Staff, mainly in London - the team is also responsible for all moves, changes and installations within the Trading floor environment.

You will act as the first point of contact for all trading floor IT issues, aiming to resolve all desktop issues within one hour whilst delivering world-class customer satisfaction. Based on the Trading Floor, you will work closely with other areas of Group IT to ensure incidents are resolved as quickly as possible and escalate any problems that could affect multiple users across the bank.

Technically, you will have the broad knowledge required for first/ second line support on the Trading Floor - with exposure to: Laptops, Remote access, Blackberry/Good mobile devices, Blade PC's, IPC Dealer Boards, Market data applications (Inc. Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, Dealing 3000, Reuters TRDA, EBS,) in-house trading applications, Wey Technology remote desktop & switching kit.

You will be a highly motivated individual who can work alone or as part of a team. You will have a strong background in Front office Financial Markets arena with considerable support experience. As you will be based on the Trading floor with your customers, analytical thinking and problem-solving will be needed to rectify issues quickly and efficiently. A high level of professionalism and customer service focus to meet and exceed the customers' expectations are very important aspects of the role.

The team consists of a Team leader and 7 engineers who cover the core business hours of 06.30 - 18.30 - there will also be overtime opportunities for which you will be paid.
