Ebuyer.com is one of the UK’s leading online electrical retailers, with over four million registered customers and 250 employees. Founded in 1999, we have a purpose-built distribution facility at our headquarters in Howden, East Yorkshire.

As a Web Designer you’ll be producing and implementing a variety of online marketing assets including banners, landing pages and email campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design new and adapt existing assets to produce graphic banners and coded landing pages for the website

- Setup and design email campaigns

- Ensure artwork adheres to brand guidelines

- Ensure landing pages meet Front-end coding standards and best practices

Web Designer Skills/Experience

- At least 2 years experience in a web design role

- Confident in hand coding HTML and CSS

- In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite

- An understanding of JavaScript libraries (jQuery)

- An understanding of optimising images for the web

- An understanding of CSS pre-processors

- An understanding of version control using Git

- Competence in Microsoft Office software

As Web Designer you will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience of working to multiple briefs and communicating with key stakeholders around deadlines. Ideally you’ll have worked in a retail environment or in the technology industry but this is not essential. What’s more important is your ability to plan and multi task in a fast paced, dynamic team where no two days are the same!

We are located in state of the art facilities in Howden, a small market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Situated 1 mile from Junction 37 off the M62, we are within commuting range of Selby, Doncaster, Hull, York, Leeds, Wakefield and Sheffield.
