Key Account Manager - Telecommunication

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Our client, a major player in the world of Telecoms are actively seeking an experienced Sales / Business Developer for an Account Manager position. As an Account Manager you would report directly to the Account Director and be responsible for establishing, developing and closing business opportunities with key carriers / operators in the Belgium and Luxembourg telecom market.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

* Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with key telecom operators.

* Generate and develop sales within the area of any of the following depending on your previous experience;

* Wireless Solutions and Products (LTE, 4G, 3G)

* Value Added Services (VAS) and Intelligent Networks (IN), SCP, SMP SDP

* OSS / BSS

* IPTV / OTT / IPTN, IP, Data

* Transmission, Optical, SDH, WDM

* Cloud / Datacentre

* Enhance customer relationships

* Create Sales plans which will identify, quantify and recommend sales action plans

* Produce and deliver formal business proposals to Director level operators

Background from Account Manager:

* 6+ years in Telecom Sales

* Good understanding of Telecom Carriers / Operators / MVNO in the Belgium market

* Previous experience in selling products or solutions in any of the following; Wireless (LTE, 4G, 3G) or BSS/OSS or IPTV / OTT / IPTN or Transmission (Optical / SDH / WDM), Cloud/Datacentre/ICT or Intelligent Networks

* Previous business development with any of the following companies would be advantageous;

* Proximus or Tango (Belgacom)

* BASE (KPN)

* Mobistar or Orange S.A.

* MVNO's: Carrefour Mobile, Ay Yildiz, Dixitel, Mobile Vikings, NRj Mobile, Ortel Mobile, Simyo, Zoniq

* Languages: English, French & Dutch are all essential
