Business Service Management has been set up to deliver managed ICT services to O2’s major corporate customers within the UK. Your Role

The role of PMO Analyst is to work within a team and provide a professional PMO Service to the Project & Programme Managers. The person appointed will work within the team ensure that all projects and programmes are supported throughout their lifecycle and maintain its quality, consistency and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The PMO Analyst should have an excellent knowledge of Project Management and fully understand the role of the PMO and what value can be added to the successful delivery of projects.

The Key Responsibilities are to:

Support to Head of PMO as requested for the provision of consistent process, service and expertise through each stage of the project lifecycle ensuring improved complianceOrganise and arrange project related meetings as requested by the Project or Programme Managers (Workshops, Programme Reviews, Project Progress Updates, Steering Groups, etc.); attends meetings where appropriate to capture minutes and actionsAssist the Head of PMO in the administrative activities associated with project and people related information.Manage resource on-boarding processProduce key Management Information to assist in the effective delivery of the PMO services to programmes and projectsSupport to ensure that deliverables are quality assured and demonstrating QA best practices where possibleSolicit performance and delivery feedback from Head of PMO and PM at the end of assignmentRun project quality checksChair lifecycle governance calls (quality gating)

Key Skills and Experiences Required

Proven track record of successfully delivering PMO services for projects / programmesStrong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, & SharePoint skills (CA-Clarity Desired)Strong communication skills including coordination skills, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills and the ability to challenge when necessaryKnowledge of PMO Services, PMO processes/methods, industry best practise, Prince2 MethodologyDisciplined work approach including the ability to work to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy is essentialSelf-starter with the ability to adapt quickly, calmly and positively to changing prioritiesAbility to resolve issues innovatively where options appear limited, and meet key stakeholders expectations within very short timescales.Ability to interpret information to identify key action points for prioritisation, issues and decisionsExperience in a customer service environment
