The Role:
We currently have an opportunity available for a Project Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Estates & Development Director, the Project Manager is responsible for managing all stages of the development and refurbishment projects, from taking the brief right through to completion and handover to the operational team.
This will be a hands on role, working with the Estates & Development and Operational teams to define scope and produce project plans, manage the design process, prepare work schedules, tenders, budgets and all necessary documentation for allocated projects, contractor selection, assessment and engagement of suppliers and manage projects through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
What experience do we like you to have for this role?
- Construction or building surveying Project Management experience is essential, ideally gained within the healthcare sector.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site projects within challenging timescales.
- Strong relationship management, leadership and influencing skills.
- Must be driven, self-motivated, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- The ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of construction.
- Degree educated and ideally qualified member of a property related Professional Body
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial environment at a senior level
- An ability to carry out financial appraisals along with first class Excel and PowerPoint skills. Must be experienced in MS Outlook
- Full UK driving license due to the travel involved in the role
