Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025.

We are developing our plans to launch a new major appeal next year to help meet the challenges ahead, and we are looking for a key individual to work with the Director of Appeals to assemble, co-ordinate and align the Dementia Appeal programme plan.

As part of the Project Management Office within our Central Office at St Katherine's Dock, London, you will be fully supported by an expert team and expected to work with colleagues across other departments to help deliver the public launch of our new appeal next year.

If you have experience in recognised project management skills, fundraising and have an ability to communicate at all levels to ensure tasks are co-ordinated effectively and actions completed to plan, then this important new role may be for you.

We are embarking on an exciting new enterprise with the Dementia Appeal and are looking for a highly logical person to work at the centre of our developing plans. Key to success of the appeal will be a well planned public launch next year and your key role will be to directly align tasks to make the very best opportunity of this once in a lifetime major public engagement activity.
