What does it involve?

In the digital world, the handling of security is becoming ever more important. Our Security function both explores possibilities and takes steps to protect BT and our customers’ organisations.

Our teams cover a wealth of areas, so there's plenty for you to get involved in. You could find yourself working in anything from security research, to delivering security architecture and assurance services, or providing technical and project management support. Other areas include bid support, design and investigations into security vulnerabilities, as well as the development and delivery of a range of identity services to our customers and partners.

So what do I need?

An innovative and commercially astute individual, you embrace change. Putting customers first, you take responsibility for delivering improvement and results in all you do. Crucially, you enjoy building relationships and working with others. And you’re passionate about learning new skills.

We’ll expect you to demonstrate a keen interest in cyber security, security architecture and design, pen testing and ethical hacking. You’ll need to have or expect either a 2.1 degree with 280 UCAS points, or a 2.2 degree with either an additional post grad degree or 320 UCAS points.
