Over the next 3-5 years, the University of Wolverhampton is embarking on a major Transformation Programme to create a "Digital Campus" which is as important and significant as the physical campus. The goal of the Digital Campus is to create a campus without boundaries where the data and information required by a member of the University community can be found and accessed at any point in time from any location.

The Directorate of Academic Support is seeking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to manage the Programme. This is an exciting multi-million pound programme, which will require synergy between people, ICT and processes. It is not an ICT programme, although ICT is a key enabler and many projects in the first instance will involve implementation of IT applications and infrastructure.

You will be accountable to the Digital Campus Steering Group, DVC Access and Lifelong Learning (Programme Sponsor) and Director of Academic Support (line manager) for successful implementation of the Digital Campus Transformation Programme.

The Foundation Phase is already underway. A number of project managers will report to the Programme Manager who will have overall responsibility to ensure agreement of business requirements, procurement of appropriate solutions and their implementation, with translation of the requirements into "business as usual" This will involve the determination, monitoring and review of programme and project costs, impacts on operational budgets and staffing, training and support.

Based within the Directorate of Academic Support in MX Building, you may be required to work at other campuses if necessary.

Closing date: 11 October 2015.
