To ensure we continue to deliver against our commitments an exciting role has arisen for a Database Administrator with analytical skills to join a dynamic team within Retail and Consumer Credit Risk.

The opportunity will require interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, building and developing networks across Risk Division and the wider Group. Retail & Consumer Credit Risk (RCCR) are responsible for managing all aspects of retail and consumer credit risk and including:

-All aspects of credit risk management for Cards, Loans, Mortgages and Personal Current Accounts

-Developing and implementing customer modelling and decisioning throughout the customer lifecycle

-Capital and impairment forecasting, portfolio stress testing and capital optimisation.

-Risk transformation, including leading investment in developing future credit risk infrastructure

This role is for a DataBase Administrator (DBA) and the purpose is to work with the Lead developer to define the logical and physical database scheme ensuring that it is designed optimally for the platform and supports the data quality framework.

The key skills/experience relating to this technical role are:

- Good knowledge of SAS storage solutions including SPDS and optimisations

- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including IT and Business

- Good working knowledge of database mapping

- Good SPDS clustering techniques

- Experience in converting conceptual and physical data design in logical model
