We are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to support the delivery of a large number of change initiatives to the platform and the wider bank to realise our vision within Commercial Digital.

You will be part of the Commercial Digital Systems team delivering the Commercial Digital Portfolio, working closely with Digital Analysts in the Business Digital Change team, Designers, Solutions Architects, Developers and Testers. As a team they work across multiple stages of the lifecycle to take outline customer and business propositions, critically evaluate them and develop and agree an end to end customer and technical design using a semi agile approach. They are responsible for ensuring the design delivers value to our customers and to the bank.

Responsibilities

- Proposition development - Critical evaluation of business ideas from a customer and a commercial point of view. Responsible for facilitating the clear articulation of the end to end customer proposition and supporting the development of a detailed benefits case

- Scope and requirements elicitation - Challenge business stakeholders to drive out the real business outcomes that are required to realise the customer and business propositions; not simply recording requirements

- Design - Responsible for developing the end to end functional design of the project/s down to detailed user stories and acceptance criteria and for ensuring a complete, balanced and cohesive design encompassing both the customer experience and the operational support areas experience. This includes the identification and resolution of macro and micro design decisions and the responsibility for the validation and approval of the design

- Analysis Approach - Responsible for defining the analysis approach and for supporting the PM with planning and estimating. Responsible for managing teams of BA's, for the quality of their output and for identifying and succinctly defining risks and issues to effectively drive the successful delivery of the project

- Stakeholder management - Build strong and productive working relationships with business and senior stakeholders to manage objections and approvals efficiently across the range of product, channel, legal, compliance and fraud stakeholders. Responsible for closing down debate on requirements scope and detail in order to keep the delivery on track

- Benefits delivery - Developing a full end to end view of the project and taking a level of accountability for benefits delivery

Skills & Experience

- Experience as a Business Analyst at a mid to senior level with accountability for Analysis output either personally or as a team lead

- Experience in or ability to demonstrate a firm grasp of online customer facing propositions

- Experience in working with customer propositions and business cases

- Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques and there practical application specifically including Agile and UML.

- Extensive stakeholder management skills

- Ability to facilitate efficient and effective decision making

- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills

- Ability to translate technical systems issues into customer and operational impacts for the Business stakeholders
