This field service representative (FSR) position will report to the Director, Insitu Mission Systems UK, but work under the day to day guidance of the Integration and Delivery Manager. This post will require the incumbent to be a self-motivated, results-oriented professional with an eye for detail, exemplary problem solving skills, outstanding customer handling skills, and a dedication to quality.

Your key responsibilities will be:

The FSR will have a range of roles and responsibilities that will fall under the following categories:

- Office-Based Customer Support

- Customer Technical Training

- Field Service Support of 2d3/IMS Software Products

- Support to Integration & Delivery

- Support to Product Development and Quality Assurance

- Technical Support to Business Development

- Support to Trials and Demonstrations

Qualifications:

- Experience of supporting operational UK Military capabilities through past Military, MoD Civilian, or Industry experience in the IMINT field, but more specifically Full Motion Video (FMV).

- Experience and expertise in digital media software, including video processing and editing software especially the exploitation of metadata related to raw media.

- Familiarity with Analogue, Digital and IP Video standards appropriate to Defence and Security applications

- Experience installing software on UK or international military computing platforms

- Experience maintaining operational software in a Defence environment

- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to align priorities appropriately and work with little or no supervision

- Must possess excellent technical writing and oral communication skills

- Must be able to travel for extended periods of time as position may require up to 50% working time travelling away from home.

- Must be proficient with typical office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

- Current UK SC or DV Clearance

- Full UK Driving license

- Experience with the following systems and concepts:

- FMV

- PED

- DCPD

- AF DCGS

- WAMI

- ISR

- RSTA

- MISB

- STANAG

- A firm grasp of motion imagery and at least one intelligence discipline such as SIGINT, MASINT, HUMINT, etc.

- A clear understanding of the intelligence cycle and the user's role within it

- Experience with industry geospatial applications such as:

- ArcGIS

- Socet GXP

- FalconView

- Google Earth

- WMS.

- Experience creating system configuration diagrams using Visio or equivalent software.

- Experience of Delivering training to Military end-users

- Familiarity with Defence ISR & GEOINT systems

- Knowledge and understanding of Image Processing and Computer Vision

- Familiarity with one or more of these Sensor types such as:

- EO/IR Full Motion Video

- SAR

- GMTI

- SIGINT

- Platforms:

- UAS

- Manned Airborne Surveillance Fixed or Rotary Wing

- Maritime Surveillance

- Familiarity with Communications Systems & Protocols such as:

- TCP/IP

- UDP

- RS232/RS422

- NMEA

- LOS/BLOS Datalinks

- Link16, AIS

- Cursor On Target

- KML

- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems concerning software installation, network configuration, and network traffic related to flow of FMV throughout an installation.

- Familiar with at least one high-level programming language such as

- C++/C#/VB/MATLAB

- LabView

- C++ preferred

- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

- Experience of Windows Server installation and administration

- Basic Electrical fault-finding

- Soldering

- Assembly of basic cable forms

- Use of electrical test equipment such as DMM and Oscilloscope
