We are looking for an energetic and experienced Web Designer / Developer with experience of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, XHTML, Cross browser CSS and JavaScript libraries such as JQuery.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the web complimented by a broad range of experience in web publishing, website development and design. As well as having strong technical knowledge, they should have good working experience of content management systems. Sitefinity would be an advantage but is not essential.

In this varied role, you will be involved in everything from designing and creating templates using HTML and CSS, building web functionality using JavaScript, liaising with the business to track and fix bugs that have come from customer complaints, analysing site performance and recommending improvements, managing google tracking tags, liaising with third parties to action changes to the web backend, the list goes on and on.

The role will sit within IT; however it will work very closely with the Product and Marketing team and other business areas on both tactical and strategic projects to improve our existing transactional web site.

You will be a self-starter who is able to manage your own work load and also communicate between Marketing and Technology teams, and convert business requirements into technical specs.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills

- Have experiencing of coding for search engine optimisation (PPC and SEO) including google tag management and speed improvements.

- Have strong analytical skills

- Experience of working with enterprise level content management systems

- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with business people and technical people alike

- Be creative and self-confident

- Be self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results and manage their own workload
