BRIEF DEPARTMENT/FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
Business Service Management (BSM) - offering businesses support with their managed IT and communications through one provider. Sound simple enough? It is, but we have a great team providing the technical support to keep this all moving and we need your help to continue on our journey.
The BSM Delivery Function is responsible for all customer delivery activities from major new transition and transformation programmes and projects through to small in-life deliveries across the full range of O2 Business technologies and services.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Programme Manager you’ll be supporting the delivery of Transition and Transformation activities for O2’s customer environments to O2’s highest standards. The person appointed will deliver Transition and Transformation projects and programmes in line with a framework for delivery that will seek to optimise O2’s existing capabilities and in parallel introduce new working practices.

Main Responsibilities
Owning transition / transformation projects and programmes for which they are assigned, including; planning, delivery and reporting to agreed performance metrics as agreed with business customers and internal stakeholdersEnsuring all systems and processes delivered are fit for purpose and support the requirements of the customer, and are then signed off as fit for purpose to deliver live servicesEnsuring that Supplier / Vendor elements of the Transition and Transformation deliverables are delivered in such a way as to result in great service to customers, whist still meeting our cost targetsProvide input and expertise to the BSM organisation to support the move to a service focussed organisation and specifically for development of Transition and Transformation capabilitiesLead project teams in such a way that the project / programme aligns with best practice and complies with any internal or external audit requirements
Skills and Experience Required
Experience delivering complex customer facing projects and programmes in a managed services or outsourcing context for Telecommunications, ICT, IT enterprise clientsBroad experience within the project life-cycle from bid through deliveryExperience of 3rd party vendor relationships in complex technologyStrong communications at all levels across technical, non-technical, and business functionsDemonstrates very strong Project Management expertise and experienceProven track record in integrating complex customer services with multiple vendors involvedProven experience of delivery of Transition and Transformation for major customersExperience of procurement activityProven experience matrix managing a virtual teamStrong communication and stakeholder management essential
