In this key role, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the 'Operations Bridge', which will include working with internal IT Teams as well as our offshore partners. This role will involve a 24X7 shift working pattern and the Bridge proactively monitors the Bank's key Payments, Card & ATM applications. As this is a 24x7 environment, you will be responsible for ensuring each shift change is comprehensive. You will also ensure that the offshore team are proactively monitoring 24x7. Driven and highly organised, you are a talented analyst with excellent communication skills.

You'll enjoy a remit spanning diverse applications. Bringing to the role strong operational expertise, you'll champion compliance, quality and innovation. What's more, you'll help to shape and grow the operational scope of the Bridge, assessing complex challenges and influencing improvements, you'll make a big impact.

In addition, you will deputise for the Technical Recovery Manager when required (managing multiple incidents, covering sick leave etc).

Essential Skills/Experience for the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Production Support Analyst with:

- ITIL - Incident, Problem and Change

- Experience in Service Management (Incident, Problem & Change)

- OPCA Batch Monitoring and Scheduling

- Business Activity Monitoring Tools

- Experience of Payments, Cards & ATMs beneficial but not essential

Some of the key areas we will assess you in are as follows

1. Critical Thinking - You will demonstrate logic and reasoning skills - being able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

2. Communication - You are adept talking to others to convey technical information effectively to non-technical people at all levels

3. Troubleshooting - You will drive the root causes of errors and deciding what to do about them

4. Problem Sensitivity - You will demonstrate the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem

Previous experience of working in a UK bank is desirable.
