ABgene® (part of Thermo fisher) is a 30m turnover business, with c240 employees, that produces specialist products for nucleic acid amplification and biostorage. The Ashford facility manufactures all of our plastic consumable products within 100,000 or 10,000 classification cleanrooms.

Position Summary

To manage various projects and outsourcing of projects ensuring that all projects conform to regulatory and Thermofisher requirements and are delivered to their respective customers (both internal and external) within agreed timelines, monetary budgets and with the relevant quality and health and safety standards. To ensure that all projects are carried out by following a strict quality driven procedure ensuring "right first time " is achieved .

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Essential:

- 5 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment preferably from a quality background.

- Project Management skills

- High level interpersonal and negotiation skills to deal with project teams, multiple contractors, workers and clients and an calm disposition under pressure.

- Ability to use bespoke software effectively as required.

- Ability to accurately interpret process capability reports.

- Experience of quality based tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA and risk analysis.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint/Project and ability to interpret and develop skills in other bespoke programmes

Desirable:

- Cad /Cam experience.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

- Lean experience/ 6 Sigma
