NHS Programme Manager

NHS Programme Manager required for a 6 month contract (possibility of extending) based either in Leeds or London.

Working for a well-established NHS organisation, you will direct and manage the teams involved in the design and development of a programme of initiatives.

This will include:

*Develop clear requirements for products and services to enable the delivery of the programme(s)

*Lead the delivery, implementation and planning of the projects and initiatives within their operational programme(s), delivering products and milestones as required

*Ensure the programme(s)'s benefits are realised; Ensure that programmes are delivered on time and to budget

*Lead, manage and develop their team in its contribution to the achievement of the departments objectives and provide clear direction and support in the development and delivery of its products

*Ensure progress is monitored, risks identified and appropriate mitigation against non-delivery is invoked

For this role you need to have the following experience:

*Strong proven stakeholder management skills

*Public sector procurement experience (framework and OJEU)

*A proven track record of navigating NHS, DH and Cabinet Office approvals processes; and

*Business Analysis - experience developing requirements for IT change projects; experience eliciting the technical, business, user and commercial requirements from a wide range of stakeholders balancing competing priorities.

*Business Case development - a strong articulate communicator in both written and oral work with track record of developing business cases that have secured significant technology investment.

*Benefits - experience identifying and ratifying benefits, producing robust metrics.

*Desirable Experience: ISEB Business Analysis qualification an advantage

You can be based in either London or Leeds, there will be ocassional travel between the two. This role is to start ASAP and will pay between £500 - £750 per day ltd/umbrella depending on your level of experience.
