Are you an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst? Join Blind Veterans UK and give our charity the means to help more.

At Blind Veterans UK we believe that no one who has served our country should battle blindness alone. That's why we provide lifelong practical and emotional support to Armed Forces and National Service veterans, regardless of when they served or how they lost their sight. We are determined to help veterans as much as we can. For that we need the best possible team - and the best possible IT.

Your task, as Information Systems (IS) Project Manager/Business Analyst, is to introduce exciting new applications and develop those we already have. That means defining business processes and solution requirements for different areas of the charity. You'll then project manage the implementation of suitable software. It's all about working out how technology can bring the biggest benefits to the organisation and masterminding the changes required.

An experienced project manager/business analyst, you already have the right talents. You can deliver projects to deadline, budget and expectations, working alongside the Business Systems Team and tracking the full project lifecycle. You also know about business analysis and change management. As well as being technically able, you're good at dealing with people: you can manage developers, stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers.

Flexible in the face of problems and a natural team player, you're keen to support our efforts. In return, we offer a fulfilling role that comes with a variety of benefits. These range from free life assurance and 25 days' holiday to childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme and subsidised staff restaurant.

Blind Veterans UK has Investors in People status.

To apply please send your up to date CV and supporting statement of not more than 1000 words addressing how your knowledge, skills and experience meet the person specification.

Please be informed that applications with CV only (without supporting statement) may not be accepted.

We're lucky to receive many enquiries and applications for our vacancies. Because of this we don't acknowledge each one - if you haven't heard from us within a week of the closing date, please assume that we won't be inviting you for an interview. You are, of course, welcome to try again if a suitable post comes up. We are unable to provide feedback to candidates not shortlisted for interview.
