The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) have set out an ambitious programme that will deliver justice reforms over the coming years; with a strong focus on digital innovation.
This post recognises the critical need for a dedicated function and resource which focuses on managing the ongoing portfolio of IT projects. Reporting to the Programme Manager as part of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) you will fulfil a critical role in the successful delivery of multiple IT projects in your portfolio.
Working within the SCTS Project Control Framework, you will take a hands-on approach to ensure every project is on track and on budget; making sure every member of the team is working together in accordance with the brief. The role includes, project planning and monitoring, risk and issues management, quality management, benefits management and reporting.
About you: You will be an effective communicator and influencer with evidence of stakeholder management in a complex organisation and a proven track record of delivering a portfolio of projects to time, cost and quality. Your change management experience will be second to none as will your knowledge of supplier management, procurement and contract management best practice.
Ideally you'll have worked within a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) function as well as having experience of gateway reviews. Additionally, you will ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree level qualification (Minimum 2:2) or equivalent in a relevant subject as well as be ITIL v3 qualified (Foundation) but these are is not an essential requirement.
