The Role

The Senior Project Manager (Digital) is a key role within our Commercial Systems team. The Commercial Systems team is responsible for all of the systems that drive revenue generation across the business. We support all aspects of selling and servicing our customers' needs. This includes our eCommerce systems; the website and mobile platforms, and the airline reservation management systems that underpin the eCommerce. We are a tight knit team of professionals, working seamlessly with our colleagues in the Marketing and Commercial business functions in a fast paced, competitive environment. This is an exciting time to join easyJet. We are currently embarked upon an ambitious and innovative transformation; the Future Commercial Platform (FCP). This strategic programme aims to replace our legacy commercial systems with a leading-edge eCommerce platform upon which we will base our future success. The new platform will enable our commercial and marketing teams to quickly reconfigure the customer offer through multiple channels, introduce new products and personalise the customer experience without need for major IT involvement. And for our customers, it will support a more inspirational and personalised experience across all of our channels, making it as easy and intuitive as possible for them to meet their travel needs.

The Senior Project Manager (Digital) will be accountable for the successful delivery of the digital channels, initially within the programme and then subsequently exploiting the new platform through a continuous agile delivery programme.

We have selected Sitecore as the basis for our digital channel re-development and this will need to integrate with hybris as the core eCommerce platform.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the digital channels within easyJet

Key Skills

- Demonstrable experience of Project Management and delivery within a large-scale programme

- Demonstrable experience of managing vendors against contractual agreements, on time and to expectation

- Ability to establish, lead and manage a team required to deliver the Digital solution, including but not limited to - Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, Scrum Masters and QA's

- Knowledge and experience within the Commercial Web/eCommerce domain, with a proven track record of integrating package based systems into complex environments.

- Experience working in high volume transactional, commercial environments.

- Experience of Mobile Web architecture and delivery (responsive and adaptive).

- Experience of UI/UX design

- Experience of leading the development of new websites from concept to delivery.

- Strong leadership skills with experience of building and managing a team to successful delivery

- Experience of managing 3rd party deliveries.

Desirable

- Sitecore experience

- Agile Scrum Master qualified

- Prince 2 Practitioner qualified

- Experience with using Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)

- Experience of Mobile App development and delivery
