As a PMO Manager at British Airways, you’ll become an important part of our journey. It’s a journey that’s seen the Corporate Programmes team go from strength to strength and one that has really demonstrated the value of Programme/change management. It’s a discipline that’s evolving rapidly, fuelled by a real drive for effective business change. As a result, Corporate Programmes is an exciting place to progress your career.

Whether you’re supporting and driving programmes that focus on improving our customer proposition, developing the airport experience or relocating our colleagues to new facilities, one thing’s for sure; you’ll be instrumental to the successful delivery of business critical initiatives.

As PMO Manager you’ll be accountable for designing and implementing suitable processes for the effective planning, monitoring/control and delivery of the Programme. You’ll work with the Senior Programme Manager to define and implement governance frameworks, risk and issue processes, monitor dependencies and report on the status of the Programme as required.

As well as working closely with the business areas to identify gaps in initiatives and understanding the planned activities to fill those gaps, you’ll also take responsibility for using Programme dashboards and other visual presentation methods, to provide regular updates to key stakeholders.

Quality and benefits reviews on the Senior Programme Manager’s behalf and offering recommendations where appropriate, will also form a critical part of your role.

To join us, you’ll need a successful track record of leading a Programme Management office function, supporting complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives. You possess the ability to work collaboratively; engage with and influence diverse stakeholder groups and the confidence and capability to deputise for the Programme Management team as required.

Our world is changing - maybe it’s time for a change for you too. With the breadth of opportunities on offer, there’s no better place to be.
