The Role:
Chess Telecom, one of the UK’s fastest growing telecommunication companies, is looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join their Corporate Solutions Team. As a Customer Relationship Manager you will develop, build and maintain relationships with our Corporate Customers to aid retention and maximize potential in making Chess a great place to be a customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and managing customers’ expectations from the outset
- Manage difficult circumstances
- To generate leads and new business
- Discussing our other IT services CRM/ICT - one stop shop
- Know what topics to include and how to sequence them
- Construct questions that uncover real insights
- Know your customer
- Build strong relationships with the customer
- Learn about root causes and provide a resolution.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Support business client with service issues and queries.
- Development, maintenance and retention of customer relationships
- Informing customers of Chess products and services
- Updating customer records
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Telecoms knowledge and/or experience
- Proven experience of exceptional service delivery.
- Professional manner
- Smart appearance
- Able to work under own initiative and part of a team
- Good time keeping
- Computer literacy
- Experience in customer service/telesales/account development role
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry
- Understanding of the Mobile Telecoms industry

Additional Information:.
The successful candidate will work from our offices in Alderley Edge reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Solutions.
Hours: 37½ hours per week Monday to Friday, normal office hours apply.
Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. increased upon anniversaries, ultimately to 25 days p.a
Remuneration: A basic salary of up to £25,000 p.a. dependent upon experience plus a KPI package reviewed in May of each year.
