IT Support Analyst

As an IT Support Analyst you will be joining an established team who provide support to approximately 250 office based and remote staff. The team looks at IT Operations (troubleshooting and managing the local data centre) and Business Solutions (working with key users, building user friendly solutions and working with external parties).

Key duties will include:

- Logging and resolving service issues within set SLA

- Supporting the use of our Standard Operating Environment. Windows 7, Office

2010, Lync 2010, Checkpoint VPN and Kaspersky Antivirus

- Support of Server systems

- Hardware Support. HP Servers, HP Desktops, Laptops, IPhones & IPads. Printers, Audio Visual

- Equipment

- Deployment of new and updated software packages

- Installation and Maintenance of Server Applications

- Other IT project management tasks as required

Training and on-going support will help you to progress and grow. You’ll work closely

with the IT Operation Manager who will provide regular support and reviews.

Premium Talent, Premium Brands

You will be a high calibre IT graduate with a 2:1 degree in an IT related discipline (such as Computer Science or Computing) or you will have equivalent knowledge. You will have a track record of achieving goals academically and outside of university.

You will have knowledge of:

- Desktop and Server Support

- Operating System Support

- Application Support

- Antivirus installation and support.

- Networking (VPN’s, broadband, routers, switches, modems, firewalls, etc.)

It is advantageous but not essential for you to have a Microsoft Certified Qualification, knowledge of SQL Server 2008, Red hat Linux VB Scripting.

You will have experience working in an IT Support environment where you have gained business acumen, built strong customer relationships and implemented business sustainable business solutions.
