Chess Digital are currently looking to recruit an Operations Assistant to join their Development team. Chess Digital is a fast growing, acquisitive, Business IT solutions service provider. The successful candidate will work from our offices in Paisley and will report to the Software Development Manager.

Hours: 37½ hours per week Monday to Friday, normal office hours apply.

Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. increased upon anniversaries.

Remuneration: £16,000 - £20,000 p.a. dependent upon experience, reviewed annually in May.

Duties to include but not restricted to:

- Assist in maintaining resourcing plans in consultation with Software Development Manager

- Review and maintain project tracking systems and produce various project reports from those systems as required (Support, Utilisation, RAG, etc.) in consultation with Operation Lead(s)

- Monitoring of project tracking systems, including addition of jobs and tasks in time

- Creating documents and assisting Operations and Project management functions as required

- Requirement to spend approximately 1 day per week in Edinburgh office to assist Edinburgh Operations

You will need to demonstrate :

- Must be pro-active self-starter

- Positive can-do attitude

- Attention to detail

- Ability to function as a Team player and on own initiative

- Interest in technology

- Interest in Project Management and Operations

Qualifications

Preferably a graduate in IT / MSc. with an interest in Operations and Project Management, or would suit a person with 2+ years relevant experience in previous Operations role(s)

Further qualifications of interest:

Excellent Excel skills, use of MS Project
