An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the Advanced Engineering team within the Security Operations team within IT Cyber Security.

As an Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for improving the cyber-security posture of LBG by developing and enhancing cyber-controls and strategies.

You should have experience in IT Cyber Security as you will be facilitating cyber threat management and assisting with the implementation of appropriate response strategies. An awareness of CISSP, CISMP, or other security related qualification would be advantageous, together with knowledge and/ or experience of any correlation engine/ SIEM tool (QRadar, Splunk etc).

You are the type of person who has the ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources and focuses on delivering sound quality and service.

Stakeholder management forms a part of this role so you should be a great communicator with the ability to tailor your communication to suit your audience.

You will have knowledge and experience in dealing with security related incidents and/ or threats from both internal and external sources.

You must be self-motivated and be able to work under your own initiative as well as working as part of a larger team. An ability to manage your own workloads, paying particular attention to quality whilst meeting timescales and objectives is required.
