KPMG in the UK has 22 offices and is part of a global network of member firms offering Audit, Tax and Advisory services to some of the world’s biggest businesses. Being part of KPMG is being part of a community of talented and innovative people, working together to have a positive, lasting impact on clients. No one type of person succeeds at KPMG; a diverse business requires diverse personalities, characters and perspectives. And with the opportunity to work across different functional sectors, there really is a place for you here.

Why choose Technology at KPMG?

Technology plays a vital role in the success of any business. Our Technology business helps clients with their most complex and challenging issues. These could be anything from online banking and new financial technologies, to large-scale infrastructure changes. One of our core services is Cyber Security. As it becomes an ever-increasing risk for all sorts of organisations, we work closely with a wide range of clients, from governments to blue-chip companies, to help ensure they have the game-changing technology they need to counter that risk.

Programmes available

We have two three-year programmes, both designed to offer you the client exposure and support you need to develop a successful career in Technology. In Technology Consulting, you will develop core consulting and technology skills, commercial acumen and a flair for business as you deliver real value to clients. Our Technology Delivery graduate programme is designed to offer the client exposure and support you need to secure a successful career in technology delivery.

On both programmes, you’ll be working with clients and technologies as diverse as the work you undertake. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the delivery cycle, from initially shaping a tailor-made project, through its design, to technical delivery. During the programme, you’ll also benefit from a number of training modules designed to hone your commercial acumen and technical skills.

To apply, you’ll need to have or be on course for a 2:1 degree in any discipline with 300 UCAS points and a grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalents). However, it’s not just your academic performance we’re interested in -we’ll assess your application by combining a number of different factors.

The inside track

"Cyber Security was totally new to me when I joined KPMG, but there’s been loads of training to help me learn quickly. I’ve been working in a variety of teams and sectors, giving clients insights and advice to help protect them from risk and improve the way they operate.

You can really push yourself here - having never picked up a rugby ball in my life before, now I’m the Ladies Captain for KPMG’s touch rugby team!"

Lucy, Technology, Graduate Trainee
