An urgent requirement has arisen for a suitable qualified System Design Engineer for a Telecommunications company in Saudi Arabia. Our customer has defined that applicants must be male and of either UK or Indian citizenship.
The successful applicant will enjoy a tax free salary of £60,222 and an attractive package including free accommodation and car.
TITLE: System Design Engineer (Power & HVAC)
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the design and specification of local AC and DC power supply and distribution systems including supporting the maintenance of company Communications
2. Responsible for the design and specification of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in support of the customer communications network.
2. Responsible for the design and specification of fixed and mobile generator systems in support of the Customer communications network.
3. Responsible for the design and specification of Automatic and Manual Transfer Switch (ATS/MTS) systems in support of the Customer communications network.
4. Responsible the specification of Uninterruptible Power Supply systems (UPS).
5. Responsible for the review and update of all the power and HVAC specification documents.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work within the engineering team to deliver cost effective robust power and HVAC system designs that will involve the following activities:
- Ensure that Company engineering design and practice is conducted and wholly resourced appropriately to Company standards and for all key disciplines;
- Work with the new business team to develop new technical proposals;
- Work with sub-contractors to define and specify power systems and HVAC designs;
Assist the operations team where required in KSA to diagnose power and HVAC issues.
Production of quality design documentation.
Work with the implementation team to deliver and implement power systems and HVAC designs
