A 1 Year Contract is available for suitable candidates for the role of a Training transformation Project Implementation Manager for a Telecommunications company in Saudi Arabia.

The customer has defined that candidates must be male and UK Citizens

The successful applicant will enjoy a tax free salary of £82k pa and an attractive package including free accommodation.

Project Implementation Manager (PIM) (Civils and IP Solutions)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND FUNCTIONS:

1. The PIM will deliver of a range of project management services in order to co-ordinate and facilitate the successful implementation of the Technical Institute projects in KSA. The PIM will be responsible for the refurbishment and upgrade of the full Technical College in order to facilitate the delivery of Technology Enhanced Learning. The PIM will require the experience and knowledge to ensure successful delivery of:

a. Civils works (power/HVAC)

b. Data Centres

c. IP LAN/WAN/WLAN

d. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

e. Latest in Terminal (tablets/laptops/Video Systems) and Presentation Equipment’s

2. Close interaction with a wide variety of key stakeholders to ensure delivery success including delivery subcontractors, the customer and company teams.

3. Accountable for the effective and timely delivery of multiple projects throughout their lifecycle to UK MOD that contribute towards the Company’s annual Order Book and Sales target.

4. Ensuring project customer satisfaction through effective delivery.

5. Identifying, mobilising and managing resources both inside and outside the company for successful projects delivery.

6. Managing acceptance and handover of delivered projects to the end user and the operations and maintenance community

7. Ensuring appropriate internal processes are complied with at all times.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

1. Knowledge and Experience:

a. Minimum of 5 years’ experience within delivering projects to the UK MoD.

b. PMP or Prince 2 qualified with experience in software delivery of benefit

c. Knowledge and Experience of IP network delivery including full data centre builds.

d. Experience of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technology of benefit

e. Sound knowledge and experience of managing budgets.

f. Proven track record of delivering successful and complex IT projects.

g. Managing people skills

h. Ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-national, multi-functional team

i. Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills

j. Customer relationship experience.

k. Good standard of written and spoken English

l. Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Project and the wider Microsoft Office Suite
