Automation Engineer (Mobile)

Salary: £65,000

Our client is in URGENT need for a Java Mobile Automation Engineer. The individual would need to have vast mobile automation experience using Appium.

You will be joining the lead automation engineer in building our automation framework.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Very experienced in writing BDD style acceptance criteria using Cucumber

- Extremely experienced in coding in Java

- Experience with Junit/TestNG

- Must have experience with Java

- Understands XML

- Knows how to use Xpath selectors

- Has experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

- Extremely comfortable in managing their own work stream and reporting back to the test manager.

- Proactive in finding answers to questions.(This is a start-up environment and it is essential the individual has this in the locker. I want someone who GET’S THINGS DONE and makes noise when they are unable to)

- They should be extremely comfortable with Mobile products and the tools used to debug issues such Fiddler or Charles Proxy.

- Understands mobile application architecture and how mobile applications fit in with backend systems. This includes knowing what restful API’s are.

- The individual should be extremely knowledgeable in differentiating between mobile client issues and server side issues.

- Has experience using JIRA

Desirable:

- CI tools preferably Jenkins

- Experience using Hippest test management tool.

- Understands JSON.
