Chess are currently looking to recruit a Technical Customer Support person to join the Network Support team. The Network Support team are responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of wide range of Chess products ranging from SAL, Multi-lines and SIP, through ADSL, FTTC, EFM, EoFTTC and Fully Managed CISCO Networks.There will be opportunity for the right candidate to receive sponsorship for industry accreditation such as CCNA, CCNP.
Duties to include but not restricted to:
Provide 2nd/3rd Line Support to our in house 1st line team, diagnosing and resolving issues.
Logging issues with Carriers where necessary via the appropriate path.
Follow Customer Service Plans to escalate issues where necessary.
Providing customers with updates via email, telephone and text messages.
You will need to demonstrate:
Broadband and/or Fixed Line product knowledge
Previous work experience within the telecommunications industry
A good understanding of Networking in a LAN/WAN environment
Exceptional customer service skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Problem solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills:
CCENT. Network +, CCNA or equivalent
Package Details:
Basic salary: £18,000 - £21,000 p.a. dependent upon experience, reviewed in May each year.
Bonus: £150 pcm KPI bonus and annual bonus OTE £25,080.

Hours: 37½ hours per week Monday to Friday, normal office hours apply.
Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. increased upon anniversaries, ultimately to 24 days p.a., plus public holidays
