Programmer (Unity, C#, C++, Visual Studio)

Location: London (Uxbridge)

Salary: £60,000

My client is an acclaimed 360 virtual reality production house that produces the most amazing virtual reality experiences.

They’re about to bring a new product into the market and are looking for a programmer with Unity and .NET experience to help them develop brilliant multi-platform experiences in a 360° environment and in virtual reality.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of Unity experience; developing software

- Experience in Microsoft .NET development is required

- Understanding of communications protocols is desired

- Experience in developing a Database using Unity and external applications

- Tools & Languages - Unity, Visual Studio, C#, C++

- Object Oriented Methodologies - OOA, OOD, OOP, modelling with UML

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

- Software Construction - Understand construction fundamentals; minimize complexity, anticipate change, plan for verification. Make appropriate use of planning, modelling, reuse and measurement.

- Software Design - Understand and apply generally accepted best practices in design methodology. Understand key issues and use proper techniques for concurrency, event handling, distribution of components, exception handling, etc. Understand and make use of common design patterns.

If you:

- Have a keen interest in 360º and Virtual Reality (VR) and experience as per above.

- Have the ability to learn and master any new required software as needed.

- Have excellent communication skills with a friendly, helpful, and positive demeanour.

- Have an excellent record of being able to work in a collaborative team.
