Role Purpose

Supporting Mitel and Network solutions and installation of these solutions at client sites. (Clients are mainly London based but some across the UK or in Europe).

Essential Skills

Demonstrable competence to work independently to install a Mitel solution in a client environment

Proven track record of installation of Mitel telephony systems and applications

Fully qualified in both MiCollab (Essential)/Mitel Border Gateway

Fully conversant in data networking (ideally with HP or Cisco)

Able to work as a member of a team with engineers and non-engineers alike

Experience of working to and meeting tight deadlines

Willingness to learn alternative manufacturer equipment and applications

Flexibility to meet last minute requirements.

Willingness to work overtime when required both out of hours and weekends

Good customer service and communication skills (ability to gain the client’s trust and share knowledge to support the sales process)

Full and clean driving license and willing to travel around Europe as required

Excellent time-keeping and flexibility to support business interests

Desirable Skills

Cisco networking background.

Experience with Cisco router and an understanding of the CLI would be a benefit, although in house training can be arranged.

Cisco qualified i.e. Cisco Unified Call Manager or CCNA

Person Specification

We are looking for a Mitel Engineer with a strong background in installing and maintaining

Mitel Solutions and a passion for networking.

Charterhouse installs high end Mitel products and we are also an Internet Service Provider (ISP) offering WAN networks. The ideal candidate is someone who can work on both of these (with the full support of a team behind them), together with the right attitude and a love of technology.
