IRiS Reading is an ambitious and creative partnership between Cranstoun and Inclusion (specialist directorate of South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust).

We are ambitious for service users and believe we can assist them to reach their full potential. We care and act with compassion at all times. We are innovative and respond intelligently and imaginatively to local needs, delivering ever-better and more effective user-centred solutions. We act with integrity, honesty and are accountable for the services delivered and the results achieved. The way we work is open and transparent.

You will be working with our performance data, to collate, interpret and produce comprehensive reports. This will involve analysing a variety of information published by Public Health England and familiarity with NDTMS (National Drug Treatment Management System), service users, family and carer’s feedback in addition to other unique date sets. You will be confident in selecting the appropriate analytical approaches that deliver results and assist the monitoring and improvement projects to steer its operational direction.

This may involve developing systems and processes to collect unique data about projects, innovation and wider recovery and health outcomes within the organisation. Intelligence gathering is also critical and as a Business Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering local and national intelligence.

You will be a highly confident self-starter, who has the demonstrable experience and ability to create, maintain and progress data implementation, taking full ownership of both the administrative and analytical functions of this role. You will also need to be extremely motivated, as you will often be working alone, as well as part of team.

It is essential that you are proficient at Excel at an advanced level and have a working knowledge of database packages and care management systems. In addition, you will be a concise communicator, with an ability to provide clear and fluent analytical interpretation of multifaceted data, both in writing and verbally. This will be combined with effective administration skills, and an accurate and strong work ethic to meet stringent deadlines and deliver a quality service. An understanding of the substance misuse and health care sector and their reporting systems is highly desirable but not essential.

Above all, you’ll be interested in becoming part of a diverse and energetic environment and welcome the opportunity to tackle challenges, look for solutions and ultimately work in a sector that impacts on people’s lives.
