You will work within the growing Development team to build design and build software solutions to meet the specification of new and existing projects. You will be involved with the ideas, design and development of new products from the ground up and deliver start of the art technology solutions for our business.

What will I have to do?

Reporting to the Director of Development, daily duties would include but are not limited to:

Integrating company solutions with external systems and services

Working with, and advising the designers in the more technical aspects of the system

Work with a close knit group to find creative solutions to business needs

Anticipate requirements, and build software in a flexible, scalable way

Meeting internal quality, commenting and documentation requirements

Under the guidance of the lead developer take ownership of the system

A willingness to learn about all aspects of the gaming industry

Not just be a developer, but be an essential part of our development team

Ok I’m sold what do you need from me?

Required Experience:

Excellent skills in javascript/css and flash for front end modules of web applications. (ajax, jquery, different frameworks ie. Knockout, RequireJS, Foundation, etc.)

Minimum of 1 year professional experience in above mentioned areas

Experience in the following is advantageous: UX, UI, Bootstrap, Node.js, Grunt, Charles, Maxymiser and Agile

Experience working in responsive web applications is a big plus

Fluency in written and verbal English

Ability to work as part of a team (but take individual ownership and responsibility)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (articulate, friendly and polite)

Demonstrate a calm manner and an ability to handle difficult situations

Ability to work on own initiative

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Ideally some gaming related industry knowledge and experience

Ability to find creative solutions and make them happen

Technical analysis experience translating business requirements into functionality

The ability to work flexible hours when required

Valid working visa.
