Business Development Manager - Desk based
Chess Telecom, one of the UK’s fastest growing telecommunication companies, are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join their Sales Team, reporting to the National Sales Manager.
Key Objectives:
To achieve sales targets as set out and agreed
To maximise revenue from new and existing accounts
To grow Chess Partner Services market share
To ensure client satisfaction at all times
Key Responsibilities:
To achieve the month sales targets as set by management (outlined in the monthly Sales Incentive Scheme).
To ensure all KPI’s are reported and achieved as set by your line manager
To minimise churn and maximise growth of Chess Partner Services Telecom’s market share
To maximise revenue and gross margin from both new and existing clients
To maximise account penetration of the Chess Partner Services product portfolio.
To accurately forecast business and to manage ongoing pipeline.
To ensure client satisfaction and to represent Chess Partner Services Telecom in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
To protect Chess Partner Services Telecom in all client relationships and act with integrity at all times.
To take client order details over the phone, fax and email; to check stock levels for availability before processing orders on the OGL database.
To keep up to date with markets trends and activity.
To operate with a strong commercial awareness in order to minimise exposure and ensure quality business is being generated and retained.
To communicate regularly and in a courteous manner with internal departments to ensure the smooth running of all accounts
To ensure continual and efficient communication with the clients regarding the status of the processing order, ensuring the client is aware of delivery, non stock and payment details.
To ensure all reporting and management requests are accurate and delivered on time.

Experience within the Telecoms Industry, preferably in the Partner/Reseller Channel

Preferred experience:
2 - 3 years proven track record in sales
Experience within a B2B mobile airtime environment
Package Details:
Hours: 37½ hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.30 pm.
Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. initially, increasing ultimately to 24 days, plus public holidays.
Basic salary: £16,000 - £19,000 p.a. dependent upon experience reviewed in May of each year. Bonus: OTE £27,000
