Network Engineer - Customer facing
Chess Telecom are currently looking to recruit an experienced Network Engineer to join a project function of the business.This position would suit an experienced and talented, customer facing networking professional required to work with the senior management team to support the technical aspects of a key strategy project.
In addition to this the successful candidate will also provide the timely and quality delivery of products and services to customers, concentrating (but not exclusively) on networking products, third line support, Technical Architecture and assist in the delivery of other company products and services.

The successful candidates would work from our office in Alderley Edge, reporting initially directly to the Head of Commercial.
Duties to include but not restricted to:
Provide Technical support for Future Network/Product Strategy project
Take full ownership of CISCO/Juniper network builds
3rd Line Support
High/Low Level Design documentation
Risk management and weekly project
Essential Criteria:
CISCO routing and switching
Strong understanding of VPN technologies
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN
Knowledge of Network Security
Desirable Skills:
Juniper routing and switching
VMWare/Hyper-V
VoIP
Experience of Project Management
ITIL
Qualifications required:
CCNA
CCNP
JNCIS (Desirable)
JNCIP (Desirable)
Package Details:
Hours: 37½ hours per week Monday to Friday, normal office hours apply
Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. increased upon anniversaries, ultimately to 24 days, plus public holidays.
Basic Salary: up to £60k plus monthly bonus and company bonus.
