We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join the in-house SAP Centre of Excellence to provide 2nd-line support for those areas of the business in which SAP has already been implemented, as well as engaging in the ongoing SAP implementation project where required.
The successful applicant will have considerable configuration experience together with a capability to define enhancements through functional specifications and assist with the creation and execution of test cases.
In this role you will be responsible for the following
Providing 2nd/3rd level support for MM and associated interfaces and reports
Resolution of cross-functional incidents and service requests drawing on a proven background of standard SAP MM functionality, understanding/experience of MM integration with other modules (SD, FI, PS) and wider SAP functionality (BPM, PI, ABAP, BW, BPM)
Liaising with business representatives and Centre of Excellence colleagues to design appropriate solutions
Understanding complex and variable business requirements and where appropriate challenging them and communicating to a range of stakeholders
Hands-on configuration and customisation
Root cause analysis
Development of functional specifications and test strategies
Support the ongoing implementations of SAP at Cambridge Assessment
About you:
Strong configuration and customization experience in MM ideally with both a project and support background
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Interfaces/integration with non-SAP systems
Integration with other modules of SAP (FI/PS/SD etc.)
Process frameworks such as ITIL
Working in a user-facing support role
Delivering business change and process improvement initiatives through SAP
Transforming business requirements into solution designs
You will ideally have been involved in at least two full life cycle SAP MM implementation projects. You will also possess detailed knowledge of ECC 6
You will be able to demonstrate drive and enthusiasm alongside a pragmatic and flexible approach
You will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
