Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint to the post of Head of Information and Communications Technology (ICT); a role which will interface at the highest of levels within a large complex organisation.

You will report to the Executive Lead for ICT (currently the Medical Director), and have the gravitas to deputise, as required, on matters of assurance and compliance. As a result, this post offers genuine challenges for the most ambitious of candidates.

You will lead the ICT Department and provide corporate responsibility and accountability for the implementation of modernised and innovative IT applications and systems across all areas and activities at the Trust.

You should have advanced knowledge and experience of national and international best practice and be able to advise the Trust on the benefits from innovations in IT relevant to healthcare.

You will support the Executive Lead for ICT in the delivery of the Trust’s ICT Strategy as well as lead the Trust’s participation in the emerging IT strategy

The successful candidate will be a proven leader in this field; ambitious, determined and resilient, and will have the ability to handle a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
