Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025.

The role is based in the Project Management Office (PMO) and reports to the Head of PMO. The PMO has a full complement of the Head, 2 senior project managers, and 4 project managers

The PMO provides support to the organization by:

- Directly managing large projects and programmes made up of multiple projects

- Providing guidance, advice and practical support for business project managers

- Providing reporting across the project portfolio

- Maintaining the Alzheimer’s Society project methodology and documentation

We are an Enterprise PMO supporting the whole organisation strategically.

We are looking for someone with experience of formal project management, able to join a highly successful PMO in a fast growing and dynamic charity. You will need to be able to communicate successfully with a wide variety of different stakeholders, internally and externally at all levels of seniority. You will need the flexibility and confidence to take on a wide variety of different kind of projects covering every aspect of a big charities work from campaigning to IT and from finance to service development.
