The Position
Applications are invited for an IT Software Analyst / Developer (NAV). This is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday.
The Company is undergoing a major Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation and requires a suitable person to be heavily involved in the process. Working alongside a team, and a NAV consultant, the ideal candidate will be motivated to develop their technical knowledge working with NAV products and being at the heart of everything it does.
As an IT Software Analyst / Developer the duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements and will include but are not limited to:
- Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Software.
- Project planning and documentation.
- Future development of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Software.
- 1st & 2nd Line support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV products.
- Development & Software Coding.
- Be involved in training self and others.
- Documenting processes and systems.
- Working closely with their NAV supplier.
The Person
- Have strong experience with the following applications; Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 - 2016, Jet Reports and Spindle.
- It would also be beneficial to have experience with:
- Visual Basic & VBA
- SQL
- .NET
- C #
- Sage
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV Implementation and Application Setup.
- Experience with Project Planning.
- Have good NAV / Sage Application knowledge.
- Have experience / qualifications in IT Support.
- Be able to think logically and analytically.
- Be proficient using The Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level.
- Be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Have a wide range of strong admin skills & posses excellent communication skills.
- Full clean driving license (held for over 2 years).
