Your role as the Quality & Risk Manager:
You will set-up and lead Quality and Risk assurance activities within the Blueprint Delivery team and Business Support Group and provide continuous improvement to assure the Blueprint Delivery programme and the Business Support Groups programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing a quality assurance framework and risk management framework across the department
- Lead to a continuous improvement culture with the Programme Delivery function
- Coach Project Managers within the team
- Taking line management responsibility for a Risk Analyst
- Working across the business, liaising with senior managers and directors
- Provide support to other Programme Delivery team activities
As such, we are looking for a dynamic and self-motivating team member who has the ability to work both independently and within the wider team.
What skills are we looking for in the Quality & Risk Manager?
- Excellent collaborative & team working skills
- The ability to maintain close working relationships internally and externally
- Confidence in your conflict and risk solution skills
- Excellent project management skills & practical application of the quality and risk process
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Project management / programme management qualifications (MSP, Prince2, APM)
- Experience as a Line Manager & Matrix Management
- Experienced in the use of Project Management tools & techniques
- Fantastic communication skills at all levels both written and verbal
- An organised, efficient and proactive outlook to your workload
A full EU driving licence is required.
