Data Analyst - DTV Optimise

General Purpose of the Role:

As part of the high performing DTV Optimise team and more specifically the DTV IT team you will be responsible for helping the growth and enabling the success of the Company with the upkeep of the underlying IT data stored and produced within.

The role itself is for an experienced Data Analyst with an emphasis on Excel and Access skills.

Requirements Within The Role:

You will have the tenacity and drive to work hard, translate and fulfil all of our internal and external clients’ database, scripting and data mining requirements to satisfy their demands.

You will already be very proficient with Access, Excel and VBA programming, data exporting and reporting.

You will work well under pressure and you will already have a very keen eye for detail and accurate data.

You will be team orientated, but equally be confident enough in your abilities to work on your own to tight deadlines.

You will be provided with all of the tools that you need to do what is required, but it will be up to you to bring the approach and the skills necessary to make you succeed, grow and progress within the role and the Company as a whole.

You will be working within the Data team where you will be:

Looking after the entire lifecycle of multiple databases.

Using your scripting skills to lifecycle the scripts needed for our Company’s day-to-day operations as well as using your JavaScript skills to enhance the workflow.

Assisting in preparing, checking, compiling and sending data exports. Essentially living and breathing our data.

Interpreting the data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reporting.

Acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources and maintaining databases / data systems to reflect current Company and client positions.

Have the initiative to understand what is required from data specs and turn them into fully formed databases and data exports.

Have the analytical mind and keen eye for detail and usability to lifecycle scripts within the online scripting and calling system that we use.

Required Experience:

Proficient / advanced skills in using Microsoft Access, Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Good experience in MSSql or MySQL.

JavaScript experience.

Experienced working with databases and database management tools.

Strong analytical and data mining skills.

HTML experience is a plus.

Mathematical qualifications are a plus.

Good communication skills.

Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Work well under pressure.

Hours of Work:

We are driven by providing the best possible service for our clients and to enable this we work as standard from 9am - 6pm.

Remuneration:

- Will be commensurate with experience, but is negotiable.

- Head of IT
