A Consultant on the Policing Analytics team, you will collaborate with platform engineers, business subject matter experts and technology delivery teams to deliver strategic research projects from design to execution.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- You will work on the entire lifecycle of a research project - developing the design with the Manager, collaborating with business experts for business understanding, working with other consultants and platform engineers for solutions and with technology teams for prototyping and client pilot implementations

- You should have industry expertise in the area of Policing Analytics and understand key technology trends in their domain, the business implications.

Experience:

- Experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, data mining, unstructured data analytics

- Project or project management

- Experience in the Policing domain

- Proficiency in statistical and other tools/languages - R, RevR, SAS, Python or similar

- Experience working with large data sets and tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive

- Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment

- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in Englis

- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, or related scientific disciples
