Accenture Webscale Services operates, scales and improves next generation global internet services. We work with the largest Internet companies in the world to solve current problems in areas such as global schedule management, capacity planning, predictive resource modelling and workflow management. Increasingly we engage these companies on future problems in areas such as global information systems (self-driving cars, automated drone delivery), global localisation (global ecommerce strategy, global campaign management) and dynamic resourcing (crowdsourcing).

What will you do?

You’ll need to figure that out. The team will be autonomous and will have the power to use the technology of their choice, release and prototype at a pace they decide on. You and your teammates will work with top Internet players to design and implement next generation technologies and also to help scale the next generation of start-ups into Internet giants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Researching, designing, and prototyping new disruptive and innovative marketing solutions

- Comfortable with both strategy and technical implementation in solutions, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the technical implementation looks as well as how it works

- Collaborating with colleagues in data, analytics, media, technology, processes and our clients to transform or improve digital operations and performance

Qualifications & Experience:

- Expert, hands-on knowledge of a wide range of programming languages / formats including; HTML(5), CSS (including CSS3), OO JavaScript, JSON, SQL, XML

- Experience with several languages such as Python, Bash, Scala, Javascript, R, and Java

- Deep understanding of Internet services and troubleshooting client / server interaction

- In depth understanding of MVC design pattern and Object Orientated Programming

- Experience working with agile development

- Adherence to web standards and best practices

- Experience developing for multiple devices such as mobile and tablets - including responsive design

- Experience with source/version control software such as SVN & Git
