Develop our new digital democracy.
The Parliamentary Digital Service is transforming the way Parliament does digital. We’re responsible for the entire digital strategy, including development of all parliamentary platforms from intranet services to a brand new website.
We’re now looking for Front End Developers to provide high quality code and excellent digital services for a modern Parliament. You’ll be working on high-profile projects, creating web and mobile products and services for use by Members of Parliament, the House of Lords, parliamentary staff and the general public.
In this position, you’ll work with User Researchers, Designers and Developers to create sites and applications at the heart of democracy. Your role will make a real difference to the way UK Parliament works.
You’ll already have strong experience using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to create efficient, highly optimised code. Your knowledge of W3C standards, accessibility and responsive web design runs deep, and you’ll have a basic knowledge of web security.
As someone who has worked on agile projects in the past, you’ll be comfortable working with people across other disciplines, and you’re able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
We’re an open, transparent and collaborative team at the heart of Westminster. If you’d like to join us in developing a modern digital democracy, click the APPLY button.
