Join the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and have a future that matters: Be proud; Be challenged; Be unique.

DIO is part of the Ministry of Defence (MOD). We play a vital role in supporting Defence by leading and managing the delivery of what the Armed Forces need to live, work, train and deploy on operations. Our people share the common goal of supporting our Armed Forces through management of the military estate.

To help achieve our objectives, we believe in six important values (Safety first, Collaboration, Integrity, Agility, Accountability and Enthusiasm) that underpin our vision and mission. These values equip us for the future and shape how we work together. These values are designed by DIO for DIO.

Are you passionate about delivering solutions to customers through the development of a data warehouse and ensuring users are able to exploit Business Intelligence (BI) tools?

Have you experience in capturing user requirements and translating these into a solution that exceeds their expectations?

Do you have the skills to be able to look at the bigger picture to determine how best to utilise limited BI resource to deliver most value?

Are you enthusiastic about working with customers, helping them through training and the provision of ongoing support?

We have an exciting role to be involved in at the start of an exciting data warehouse programme to deliver real value to all parts of the organisation.

DIO is developing a new data warehouse to be at the heart of future decision-making across the organisation. This will bring all the data in one of the largest infrastructure organisations in the UK together to provide real insight into how we can drive DIO to be an evidence-based organisation, and this job is pivotal to making this happen.

DIO is offering an opportunity to be at the start of the BI journey, implementing new ways of working and driving change through a team that requires directing and shaping to be an efficient and effective delivery organisation. The adoption of BI will begin to change the way in which DIO operates, and this is a chance to be instrumental in delivering the significant change that will have high visibility.

It is desirable that candidates have a Project Management or Programme Management qualification.

At DIO we are passionate about delivering great things for our customers. But we also know you will have a life outside of work; we respect your priorities and our industry leading flexible working practices will give you real freedom to balance work and life.

We employ talented people who challenge and guide each other. At DIO you will work within a highly capable team who will support you to develop your skills, knowledge and experience.
