The Chief Information Officer (CIO) area within DIO Head Office is responsible for the delivery, management and assurance of all Information Technology (IT)/Information Systems (IS) strategies, policies, standards and services that are applicable to the DIO. CIO has four key pillars; Customer Service and Requirements Team, Design and Transition Team, Delivery and Operations Team and The Information Security and Assurance Team.

The Information Hub (IHub) Senior Information Officer is based within the Delivery and Operations Team.

The main duties of the role include:

-Actively lead three teams (Sutton Coldfield, Andover and Wyton) providing IHub Services to DIO. The Ihub’s remit includes account and group data products provided through a Service Catalogue delivered within agreed service level agreements

-Ownership of business processes for own area of responsibility

-Maintain the quality of the IHub catalogue presence

-Provide a focal point ensuring DIO compliance with Ministry of Defence (MOD) policy on Information Management and Exploitation

-Support the Information Services Manager in the implementation and steady state running of any new Information related platform or provision
