LGSS Property Services are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to deliver LGSS clients' Capital programme.

LGSS delivers, on its Clients' behalf, a high profile and wide ranging capital programme to improve clients' assets and ensure effective and practical working environments for the benefit of both the client and end user. The size of the programme differs from year to year, but typically value will be in the region of £130M+ per annum.

The post holder will report directly to the Construction Programme Manager and will have the opportunity to grow their role in conjunction with LGSS's growth.

The post holder will undertake an important role within LGSS Property Services by providing effective construction project management of all Property Services related capital programme projects for the founding Authorities and the LGSS client base.

Managing multiple projects to deadline, you will be able to prioritise workload, manage projects from brief through to delivery on time and within budget, including procurement, co-ordinating design teams and managing programme. You will be competent to manage budgets and your organisational skills will ensure that construction project documentation/systems are maintained. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to develop effective business relationships with stakeholders and partners, possess sound judgement and a high degree of personal accountability.

This role suits a candidate who has previous experience in project management and who understands the end to end process of good project management to drive improvements and value for money using existing procurement frameworks for delivering the work.
