The Business Intelligence (BI) Support Analyst provides support to the team’s focus on supporting end users in the delivery of management information (MI), reporting and data discovery / analysis utilising the tools used within the BI function. In addition, the role assists with the capture of user requirements, helping to facilitate these into a prioritised series of deliverables and shaping the delivery sprints through which these are delivered.
The post has to interact with stakeholders at all levels across DIO as well as the BI function as a whole. The post holder must have credibility based upon experience of delivering via the use of BI tools and be able to represent the relevant teams based upon experience in the following key areas: exploitation of BI tools; the capture of requirements and shaping into a delivery sprint which recognises priorities, user engagement and the capability of the BI function to deploy; integrating activities into a delivery plan; project management principles; the provision of a support desk service to end users; delivery of training and advice to users.
